Hotel Roemer Amsterdam

Hotel Roemer is an sophisticated designer hotel with excellent facilities and delightful staff in one of the most elegant areas of Amsterdam. The staff are delightful and the service always courteous and friendly....  

best thing is the tranquility of the area and hotel staff, friendly and willing to help in any way. room is spacious and pleasant. complete bathroom with hydro-massage bath, perfect when you arrive at night tired after a day's walk....  

cosy atmosphere, very small hotel with only 20+ rooms.Not comfortable with having room on ground level and in front of hotel, distrubed by noise.But staff willing to change the room second night to second floor which...  

The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring Amsterdam, and the nearby pancake club was a good find for breakfast. The high tube bunk beds in the family room were a thrill for the kids, but a bit daunting for the adults.

In January, it was cool in the room, no slippers.

Off the main roads, it is a very quiet location but still very practical for visiting the city. Very modern with a lot of electrical appliances (flat screen tv, espresso machine in the room, ipod radio, etc.)...  

Charming Location with Friendly Staff

The staff's warm hospitality, always greeting us with smiles. Breakfast was a good surprise, the pancakes were a lovely treat, bursting with flavor. For future guests, explore the local pancake houses for a tasty an authentic experience!

Late and difficult check-in

All in all the hotel is fancy, it has very amiable staff and tastefully decorated rooms. The breakfasts is savoury with a great selection of food.

A quick and honest take

Our last-minute switch to this gem was the best decision! Ideally located near museums and a short stroll to the beautiful Jordaan area, it seemed like home. Our super clean, spacious room was a bargain compared to canal stays, and the tram stop was just a few minutes away. We'll be coming back for sure!

We were upgraded to suite which was very luxurious, spacious and well outfitted. Location is great for access to Vondel park, museum area, shopping and Pijp district but for access to central Amsterdam prepare to walk or better still rent...  

We loved the convenient location just 5 minutes from the Van Gogh Museum and also the lovely Vondel Park. The facilities were great (particularly in our upgraded Junior Suite!) and it was good to have the garden just outside patio doors....  

The staff went out of their way to. The location was perfect for exploring the museums, and we especially enjoyed our evening bike ride through the picturesque streets.

In my wife's opinion, a kid-friendly play area would be great.

Breakfast was very enjoyable; relaxed, great food & coffee, wonderful to look out on to the decking/garden area & really interesting art.

Appreciated awesome breakfast, reasonably large room.

Smooth check in at 15:00 and good service. We got room with modern decor and a good size bathroom to relax. Location: the hotel was just off all the shops, the Concertgebouw, parks, the shops and...
